Most of you may recall the massive tsunami of 2004, which was one of the worst natural disasters to have ever occurred in modern, recorded history. The storm, having occurred in December, largely affected the countries and regions surrounding the Indian Ocean. The results were devastating, as over 230,000 people lost their lives. As with most disasters of this magnitude, the world came together to help those affected in any way possible. One of those ways was through the power of music where the world saw musicians come together to encourage anyone and everyone to donate to the Red Cross. One such notable performance involved two living legends, Roger Waters and Eric Clapton, performing the iconic Floyd song, “Wish You Were Here.” This performance is quite a treat for any musical lover so please enjoy the video below, and always remember through music we can accomplish so much.
